About this job
Assistant Preschool Teachers:
Support the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally-appropriate curriculum to children ages 2 1/2-10.Utilize positive reinforcement, redirection, prevention and development of self-discipline as student behavior management techniques.Assist with the rotation of classroom supplies, books, decor, etc.
Clean and organize the classroom according to the lead 4K lead teacher's direction.Perform other duties as assigned including laundry, dishes, etc...
Qualifications:
Applicants should have 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting.
To comply with State of Wisconsin licensing requirements, applicants must:
Meet the licensing requirements set forth by with Wisconsin Department of Children and Families for early childhood professionals for an assistant teacher-Introduction to Child Care Profession or one broad based early childhood credit course.
Submit to and pass a complete background check.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Must be first aid/CPR certified within six months of hire and complete shaken baby syndrome training.
If you are a college student you must be available during holiday breaks.
