We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Denver Zoo - Food Service Line/Cashiers.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Job Description for Food Service Line:

This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers through serving food and beverages, both hot and cold.

Duties and responsibilites - Line:

• Greet guests and take order
• Serve food and beverages, both hot and cold
• Check and stock supplies in counter area, display refrigerator, and steam table
• Inform kitchen staff when frontline food quantities are low
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and be able to relay information to guests
• Complete other duties as requested.

Job Description for Food Service Cashier:

This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers through taking orders, collecting payment from guests, and making change.

Duties and responsibilites - Cashier:

• Greet customers, take orders, and process sales through the register
• Collect payment and make change
• Relay relevant comments from guests directly to supervisor
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Complete other duties as requested

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excel in customer service
• Diligent and organized cash handling skills (for cashiers)
• Must have Internet access

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServSafe certification
• Previous customer service & food industry experience

Wage: Competitive based on experience

Minimum working age - 18 years old for beer service
