Event Usher – Part Time 
                                                     
This is a part-time, event-based position located within the Event Services Department of the Honda Center.  Hours for this position fluctuate depending upon arena event schedule.


Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:

•    Greet guests and provide a memorable and pleasant experience
•    Seat guests and assist with general directions throughout the venue
•    Participate in a door guard or elevator rotation position
•    Check and scan tickets at entry points
•    Perform other duties as assigned


Qualification Standards:  

•    High School diploma or equivalent
•    Minimum 18 years of age
•    Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
•    Strong oral communication skills
•    Ability to climb up and down stairs at varying inclines
•    Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
•    Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
•    Flexible schedule – candidates must be able to work 90% of all monthly events; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
