Are you looking to create a career with animals? Do you like to work outside? Tired of working in an office and tired of working for someone else? Want to be in control of your own success while collaborating with other animal lovers? Together we will design the path that best suits you to work with pets in our industry. We are looking for someone to grow into a partner in our pet business you will not only learn how to work with pets, but learn the business side of the industry. The goal is for you to become a manager/partner in the business. The route you take depends on your skill or interests with dog training, dog walking, dog sports or pet sitting etc.
We’ve designed a 12 month program to help you get comfortable working with pets to find the area of pets you’re most excited about and to teach you the basics of the pet industry. You will mentor with a professional dog trainer because which ever route you decide to take it is important you have dog handling skills. This position goes beyond just a love for animals, we want you find a career with us you love because if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
We service Chula Vista (Eastlake & Otay Ranch), Imperial Beach, Bonita and the Spring Valley area. You must be willing to drive around ALL of those cities sometimes even the same day multiple times. You are compensated for gas expenditures.

Requirements
EXAMPLES OF POTENTIAL PART TIME SCHEDULES:
- Weekdays- 11am-3pm
- Weekends- 7am-9am then 11-3pm then 7pm-9pm
- MOST IMPORTANT: You must be willing to work a portion of each of the upcoming holidays Halloween, Columbus Day Weekend, Veterans Day weekend, Election Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Year's Day. As well as 5 days a week part time Oct. 15th to Nov. 6th specifically. Must be able to commit to working for us for AT LEAST a year or there is no need to apply.
