ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Interact with fellow teammates and guests using “Tropitude” (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere for our team and every guest, every time).
• Deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer that visits our café.
• Prepare ingredients for our fresh food and smoothies.
• Assemble and serve fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Café’s standards.
• Use our food safety and sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Set up and monitor food and smoothie work stations.
• Clean and organize kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
• Follow the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer.
• Follow all safety and security policies set by the brand and Café Manager.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the café.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.
• Restaurant experience preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with teammates and guests.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary.
• Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
• Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with NO FRYERS OR GREASE!

Pay ranges between $7.50 - $9.00 per hour depending on experience
