Kitchen All Star - Part-time

Biscuit Bitch is a popular destination cafe with three locations in downtown Seattle. Our focus is friendly, fun service and irreverently named Southern-inspired breakfasts. You might say we are a cross between a hole-in-the-wall diner, a coffee shop and a food truck in a trailer park.

We're seeking a Kitchen All-Star to wow our customers with your charming, outgoing personality and wow your team members with your quick-wit, quick pace, quick brain and ability to make the back of house sparkly (that means you're an obsessive clean freak).

Duties include making tourists laugh and smile while taking their orders, remembering the names, hobbies and fave foods of our many, many regulars, keeping your area schmutz-free, expediting orders, doing dishes, bussing tables, taking out garbage, sweeping, mopping, helping out the team with whatever needs to be done, opening and/or closing the cafe, pretending you feel fabulous when it's 90 degrees in the shop, smiling and smiling and smiling.

Must be able to rock n roll with the big kids and endure long never-ending lines of hungry people who have come all the way across the country just to eat at Biscuit Bitch! At least one year experience and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy kitchen is important. Dynamic personality and ability to follow directions, ask questions and learn quickly is required.

This position is part-time with opportunity to increase hours. Must be available to work weekends and early mornings. Send resume with reply to this ad or bring it into the cafe in-person. 

*All three Biscuit Bitch shops are located in a busy tourist area of downtown. There is a 2-hr street parking limit, NO free parking is available. Use of bike, feet or public trans is highly encouraged.
