 JOB DESCRIPTIONYour ten years or greater of successful Pharma sales achievements and experience, coupled with your education and overall business acumen, will be called upon to achieve sales of data and data solutions-related sales to large pharmaceutical firms. 

We are primarily looking for the development of a strong Pharma client base. You will become a key contributor to our growing sales team and will be relied upon to rapidly support the development and implementation of our strategy to generate sales opportunities.You will work with clients to help them use complex rich healthcare datasets to answer their specific questions, to make more informed decisions, and to deliver results

You will be expected to travel with this position, as required, with daily office attendance when not traveling.

You will report to the Vice President of Sales, with dotted line reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Enziime.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant executive-level sales experience
  • Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses.
  • Must be a superior and successful sales person, have excellent presentation and writing skills, act with a sense of urgency, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must have successful experience identifying and closing new business opportunities and developing positive relationships at all levels of client management;
  • Must be revenue-driven, knowledgeable,a problem solver, customer focused, creative, resourceful, fast & flexible, organized, and an effective negotiator;
  • Must have experience delivering against aggressive sales targets;
  • Specific knowledge of the following domains, particularly as they relate to the Pharma market, is imperative:
    • Data, Data Management, Analytics, Reporting, Decision Science and Health IT Services
    • Healthcare Data Analytics/SaaS
    • Data Science/Propensity Scoring

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive Pharma sales opportunities to achieve or exceed growth & revenue targets through a sales approach that solves client business issues;
  • Proactively strengthens in-depth knowledge of product and its application within a client's enterprise;
  • Interfaces with customer at all levels;
  • Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales;
  • Monitors delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction;
  • As part of the sales process, gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to Enziime staff to strengthen offerings and capture additional business;
  • Support the development and implementation of a Pharma sales and marketing strategy;
  • Master complex sales processes resulting in highly successful bid decisions, winning strategies, proposals, teaming decisions, and contract closings;
  • Provide sales leadership and management over multi-million dollar data contracts sales opportunities
  • Gather requirements to facilitate effective and efficient communications between the sales prospect and internal teams. Streamline the sales process and enhance relationship building by judiciously applying Enziime's methodological and analytical expertise for sales opportunities;
  • Working with the internal teams, align data resources and analytical methodology to meet the prospective customer's business objectives and ensure an optimal value with insights using both standard and customized solutions.
  • Apply Enziime's methodological and analytical approach to meet client objectives, including design and documentation of the sales opportunity to articulate the business value of a solution.
  • Participates with Enziime Account Executives to establish account planning strategy;
  • Deliver timely and comprehensive sales forecasting and reporting:
    • Document sales activity and pipeline development using applicable sales tracking tools;
    • Provide accurate forecasts based on sales management requirements;
  • Maintain networks and relationships to keep abreast of competitors' activities;
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships within the industry;
  • Conduct research and competitive analyses associated with new opportunity pursuits;
  • Further develop superior knowledge by remaining abreast of current issues and events regarding the Pharma market segment;
  • Achieve proficiency in demonstrating all Enziime product lines;
  • Communicate issues, concerns and problems in a solutions-oriented manner;
  • Participate in trade shows/conferences as required;
  • Other related duties as assigned;
