SUMMARY

The Restaurant Marketing Director has the opportunity to support the Chick-fil-A Purpose of “Be Remarkable and Where Good Meets Gracious”.  In this role you will lead and provide vision to the team members regarding the Marketing Activities and Restaurant Promotions that will take place in and around the Cy-Fair community and throughout the restaurant.   You will be a key member of the Leadership Team and will serve as a steward for Chick-fil-A at 1960 & Eldridge Pkwy.

This role requires an integrated communications professional who has experience in planning and organizing events.  This can be accomplished by using the full range of tools provided by Chick-fil-A corporate through National Campaigns, Brand Builder. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a focused team to drive transformational change leading to executable plans that meet strategic objectives while delivering a superior experience to internal “clients”
  • Position Chick-fil-A at 1960 & Eldridge Pkwy for future success using consumer engagement and marketing activation strategies within the marketing landscape.
  • Responsible for building strong, highly collaborative relationships in the Cy-Fair community.
  • Work cross department (Brand Marketing, MDO, Sales, Innovation, Digital, Insights) to ensure holistic execution of brand strategy and communication.
  • Provide leadership to the department focusing on development of the skills and effectiveness of the group, both as a whole and as individuals.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure event execution and consistency.
  • Manage a $75k-80 budget.
  • Setting goals and objectives to deliver a fully integrated approach to marketing communications.
  • Be responsible for big creative ideas and tactical executional excellence, developing and managing a process across internal teams and external partners. (example of external partner would be a school, church, community organizations)
  • Drive implementation and excellence around 360 degree ideas, owning the briefing process with key partners to create campaigns that inspire consumers and customers, proactively ensuring that ideas are well resourced against internal and external partners.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA
 

Experience

  • Ability to build strong, highly collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to effectively communicate.
  • Proven experience developing, inspiring, and activating teams to deliver best in class marketing messaging against key audiences.
  • Track record of driving excellence around 360 degree campaigns and messaging initiatives.
  • Experience in Advertising and/or Public Relations.
  • Experience and understanding of digital marketing.
  • Experience in or understanding of Consumer Promotions.
