Media Buyer/Planner Bloom Ads, Inc- Woodland Hlls, CA. Bloom Ads is a fully integrated media planning and buying agency seeking a Media Planner/Buyer to help negotiate/plan media for our clients.   Bloom Ads provides multi integrated media solutions across all tactics: TV, Radio, Print, OOH, Digital.  The ideal candidate must have experience buying traditional, non traditional and digital media. We are looking for an individual who is extremely organized, efficient and responsible, who can help us increase our delivery capacity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to successfully multi-task and a strong attention to detail. We are an innovative agency that relies heavily on the application of technology and unique organizational systems, so you must also be comfortable and experienced working with computers. We are looking for an energetic, excited, creative mind to join our team of innovators, someone who will approach challenges with enthusiasm and bring a fresh voice to our brainstorm sessions.  

 

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Communications or related field
  • 3+ years of media experience in an agency environment
  • Proven negotiation and analytical skills required with a history of meeting deadlines
  • Ability to establish and solidify relationships with vendors
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of branding and industry
  • Ability to exercise creativity and take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can handle large tasks without a lot of day-to-day handholding
  • Experience planning and buying across all media tactics a plus
  • Proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of Strata/SBMS, Media Tools, Nielsen Answers, Scarborough helpful

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, place and maintain Local TV, radio, cable, digital audio & video activity in assigned markets on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Serve as a resource for media planners, account teams and clients on market conditions and nuances
  • Develop and execute added value programs that support client goals & objectives
  • Pre-post all schedules and conduct post buy analysis
  • Evaluate and develop POV's on new media opportunities/key issues
  • Attend industry, client and agency functions, as needed during the business day and/or after hours
  • Establish relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Maintain relationships with media outlets and networks
  • Find new media opportunities for our clients on an ongoing basis
  • Collect and traffic media orders
  • Coordinate copywriting, art layout, and production as well as minute ad changes on an ongoing basis
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Contribute to agency team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
