Our friendly Vehicle Porter allows their drive and high energy to encourage our team as they prepare each manicured vehicle. As an entry-level team member, the vehicle porter learns and utilizes our guiding systems and principles to achieve success. These techniques are mastered as a porter and provide the foundation for professionalism required for continued growth. The Vehicle Porter will be expected to use their manual dexterity and bodily coordination to perform an array of tasks to vehicles. These tasks may involve a simple shampoo, vacuum or more specific work like cleaning the trunk, ashtray or engine. They wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, but they may also wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines. Inside of the car, they typically vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and/or cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains. Some detailing jobs involve cleaning and removing any grease on engines, engine compartments and/or wheels and rims. Porters usually work independently and are expected to work frequently standing and moving.

At minimum your job is to wash the exterior and interior of a vehicle with acute and meticulous attention to detail. Check vehicle fluids and insurance documentation.Additional duties may include managing and maintaining the appropriate level of supplies. Car detailers might be asked to organize work records, files and reports as well.
