Garston Sign Supplies Inc. a three location wholesale regional distributor for more than 50 years is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist with 2+ years of experience for our East Hartford, CT location.
Job Description:
* Receive and inspect all incoming shipments ensuring accuracy and reporting any damage
* Prepare all shipments including all documents, adding labeling
* Communicate with customers with status of delivery
* Keep inventory levels within company standards
* Data entry to include daily material usages and received products
* Assist with annual inventory counts.
* Schedule pick-ups with freight carriers
* Comply with all company safety
* Forklift licensed to load and unload products
Qualified candidates-
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving
Excellent communication skills
Attention to Detail
Computer skills- Word, Excel
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
