Injection Molding Foreman for 1st Shift

Leading local custom injection molding company looking for an experienced 1st shift foreman/supervisor.The ideal person must have strong management skills and the ability to motivate people in a team based atmosphere.The right individual must have 5 to 7 years of leading a team in a manufacturing environment with preferably 10 years of molding experience.English is a must, Bi-lingual is an added advantage.

Supervisor will be responsible for administering plant management and supervisory policies at the shop floor level in order to achieve maximum utilization of people and resources to ensure high standards of product quality and worker safety.This position will be for 1st shift, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Supervisor Responsibilities include:

  • Management of all personnel, equipment, grinders and all aspects of the molding department for your shift.
  • Provide direct supervision of plastics molding team members.
  • Ensure that manufacturing production plans are met on a daily basis.
  • Ensure a quality product is being manufactured.
  • Performs process and equipment adjustments when necessary.
  • Monitors work of associates to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Verifies that associates are adhering to Safety rules within department.
  • Ensures quality standards are met by auditing the operators work.
  • Performs product problem solving and corrective action.
  • Needs to have the ability to react to changing conditions and environment. 
  • Effectively communicate to other shifts and or department to resolve mfg. issues.
  • Supervising a team of up to 20 employees.
