ASSIGNMENT

We are looking for NYS licensed security officers with a valid F-02 Fire Guard Certificate for:

Manhattan & Bronx Family Shelters. Full-Time positions only, weekends are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Searching clients with a handheld metal detector
• Access Control
• Monitoring client activity
• Enforcing policies
• Incident reporting
• Conduct patrols
• Attend meetings and trainings
• Participate in fire drills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have valid F-02 Fire Guard Certificate
• Must have valid CPR/First Aid Certificate or obtain it within 10 days of hire
• Able to follow written procedures
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Physically fit to perform in cases of emergency
• Able to stand for long hours
