About this job

Ideal candidate should have a background and/or area of study in Communications, Business Administration or other related disciplines. Ideally this would be someone who hopes to work in an operational business environment, and a desire to learn systems and processes to drive improvements within our reporting system. If you have superb communication skills, excellent writing and proofreading skills with critical attention to detail, and accuracy with a strong problem solving mind-set, we want you!

Key Functional Accountabilities:

  • Ongoing management of the Hoshin Kanri System
  • Prepare and manage Quarterly Management Review Meetings
  • Support the achievement of the BE annual Departmental Management Policy.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Excellence Department in regards to meetings, corporate reporting requirements, company calendar management, information posting, filing, etc.
  • Take accurate, complete and concise notes, and draft official record of meeting minutes and action items
  • Create and achieve annual goals/objectives.
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen projects, as needed.
  • Provide timely response to inquiries, messages, and requests.

Key Job Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills with critical attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong problem solving mind-set, driven by creativity, data analysis, and innovative thinking
  • Superb communication skills (verbal, report writing, presentations, etc.)
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software systems 

Education and/or Technical Requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor's Degree or
  • Associate's Degree with 1-3 years relevant experience
