About this job
We are seeking a full time Paralegal to become a part of our team! Family Law experience required. Social Security Disability experience a plus.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents and case management
- E-file pleadings through E-Portal
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Serve as liason between client and attorney
- Drafting of Financial Affidavits
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Familiarity with legal pleadings and research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Family Law Software, Time Matters, and Prevail a plus
