A full-service boutique real estate firm in New York City is seeking a full-time executive assistant intern with marketing experience to start immediately. In reporting directly to the president of the company, which has both a residential and commercial division, the intern will gain complete exposure to every aspect of the real estate industry.

Given the firm's dedication to growth, the ideal intern must have the organizational and operational skills to facilitate effective business infrastructure and processes. Depending on performance, this internship position may lead to a permanent role within the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring overall company organization through physical, electronic, and interpersonal means
  • Establishing and organizing up-to-date databases and contact lists
  • Managing schedules and calendars for all team members
  • Producing marketing materials for property promotion (including brochures, mailings, e-blasts, email newsletters) both utilizing existing templates and creating new formats and content
  • Developing email newsletters and blasts to be circulated regularly
  • Building and maintaining social media presence on all relevant platforms
  • Identifying and managing listing distribution channels for commercial and residential properties
  • Creating and implementing unconventional promotion solutions that align with brand identity
  • Conducting research on various issues, as needed
  • Planning all aspects of events (such as open houses and networking functions), as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field preferred, although all qualified candidates will be considered
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ideally derived from prior management experience
  • Proficiency in computer programs and graphic design software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products, for creating outstanding marketing material
  • Notable attention to detail, with high standards of execution
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Efficient task competition and consistent adherence to strict deadlines
  • Extraordinary written and oral communication skills that promotes accurate reporting to higher authority
  • Aptitude for prioritizing and multi-tasking in a high pressure environment
  • Strategic thinking and proactivity in recognizing issues and implementing solutions
  • Personable and professional presence in indirect communication and interpersonal interactions
