Electro-Works is a small company that specializes in technology geared toward entertainment and pushes the boundaries of complex electronics. Our jobs run the gamut from a typical AV install to designing, building and installing highly customized electronic shows and displays. We gravitate towards the unusual and difficult installs including odd locations such as themed rides, amusement parks and water slides.

Electro-Works is looking for someone to help with the day-to-day and the long-term research and development into new ideas.

Job duties include:

  • Efficiently pull, terminate, label, and test cabling between audio, video, data, and control equipment.
  • Correctly and safely mount, test and calibrate equipment including touch screens, projectors, screens, monitors, cameras, lighting and speakers.
  • Being able to work well with other on design/fabrication of electronic devices such as control panels and speaker building and also be willing to learn new technologies.
  • Communicate with the client (project manager, lead technician, salesperson, and/or engineer) with status updates, issues, and suggestions, attending job progress meetings as necessary.

  • Be self-motivating and hard-working with attention to detail.
  • Be willing to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Have solid electrical knowledge.
  • Be willing to learn new technologies and be up for a challenge.
  • Be able to travel occasionally (within and outside of the state of Wisconsin).
  • Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and good driving record.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity, ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, operate power hand tools and work in a construction environment including man-lifts.
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying equipment, ladders, and tools.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
