We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Assistant Manager.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Position: Assistant Manager
An assistant manager will assist the store manager with the daily operation and implementation of company policies and procedures. You will assist with the managing of the store staff through coaching, training, feedback, and scheduling. The ideal candidate will maximize sales and profits through effective marketing, merchandising, vendor relations, and selling techniques. You will also effectively manage inventory, expenses and maintain the store level of appearance.
Assistant Manager will:
-Forecast, order, stock and merchandise product
-Ensure prompt reconciliation of store paperwork
-Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
-Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment
-Assist with management of store staff
Job Requirements:
-Prior retail/customer service experience a plus
-High school diploma / GED preferred
-Sound judgment and decision making skills
-Strong willingness to learn the business
-Strong people skills
-Strong team building skills
-Must work a flexible schedule
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Strong mathematical ability
-Ability to lift one to five pounds constantly
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required
-Computer knowledge a plus
-Possess reliable transportation
-Possess a valid drivers license
