Once Upon A Child is a locally owned retail store that buys and sells new and gently used children’s clothing, toys, books, furniture and equipment. We offer gently used, brand name products at a great value! At Once Upon A Child, safety and product quality are our top priorities.

Looking for flex schedule to fit classes, we’ve got that WCSU & Local High School students. Looking to work 10-3pm while the kids are at school. Do you love kids stuff? Do you enjoy playing with toys? Once Upon A Child of Danbury is now hiring. Comp pay plus 20% OFF Discount. Great team atmosphere, free lunch on Sundays, daily snacks, work family vibes. The ideal candidates will be customer service minded individuals. Previous retail experience is preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of style trends & kids stuff a plus. Associates will tag, label and hang inventory. Properly handles money, deposits, transfers, cash drawers and store supplies. Associate will do register & customer service. Always working with at least 3-4 associates per shift. Maintains and stocks merchandise to the floor, putting them in the proper place. Keeps the store organized by style, size and color. Must be able to stand for most of shift and lift up to 40 lbs. We look forward to meeting our next team member!
