The Catering Team is a huge part of our business - it helps us get in front of our local community to form and nurture strong relationships. Our catering also allows our guests to enjoy a taste of Corner Bakery, even when they aren't able to stop by our restaurants in person! By displaying reliability and excellent customer service, the members of our Catering team take the Corner Bakery values on the road.
The Catering Supervisor leads and supervises the total catering operations in our cafe. This position includes duties such as catering order taking, driver scheduling, catering production and preparation, general cleanliness and organization of the catering department. The catering lead works with outside customers and is directly in communication with our guests daily.
As the Catering Supervisor you will oversee the preparation, presentation and service of our great food. An entrepreneur's spirit is an asset in this position. The work week is generally Monday-Friday but this position requires the ability to work weekends, if necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Takes orders over phone and enters them correctly to ensure proper production
- Prepares/reviews prep sheets for food preparation
- Begins and completes baking/food preparation.
- Builds the orders
- Delivers orders on time and with exceptional customer service
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of delivery equipment, to include the van
- Manages and leads additional catering staff
Compensation-$9-11 is the base salary with additional tips daily that can average $80-200.
