In Harmony Sustainable Landscapes offers a natural lawn and plant health care program to clients in the greater Seattle and Eastside area. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about navigating the streets of Seattle and the eastside and be ready to learn about NW plants and lawns and how to care for them. Excellent customer service skills are a must! Our services are concentrated on educating clients and providing quality landscapes without the use of harmful products. In Harmony fosters a positive, fun, learning work environment to encourage and promote growth within the horticultural field.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent driving record and Washington State Driver’s License; a 3 year driver’s abstract is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
- Must have a positive “CAN DO” attitude.
- Knowledge of NW plants and lawn care desired but not required!
- Ability to obtain Washington State Pesticide Operators License within first two weeks of hire. In Harmony will provide study guides. New hires that pass the test on the first try will be compensated accordingly.
Position Duties
- Facilitate the care and development of trees, ornamental plants through spraying compost tea, sea kelp and other beneficial products. Also, treating insect and disease with environmentally safe oils as needed.
- Care for lawns through fertilization, weed control, moss control, aeration and overseed.
- Interact with clients in a professional manner and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Maintain daily records of clients and entry of daily work in computer database.
- Keep work truck neat and orderly on a daily basis.
- Work days Monday thru Friday, 7 am start time.
- Full-time with some overtime in spring and fall.

- Starting pay depends on experience
