*Job Description:*Service varies by position as the needs of each placement site are assessed prior to service so that a formalized position description is created. Generally, these positions work in program development/evaluation, community outreach/engagement or community assessment.  *Attend three retreats, two of which are overnight and outside of San Antonio  *Design, plan, and implement one Team Service Project to benefit a nonprofit and the wider community  *Participate in National Days of Service throughout the service term  *Plan, coordinate, and participate in bi-weekly leadership and professional training workshops to support peer development  *At least once a month, meet outside of placement and program with designated peer team for training, goal-setting, and team-building  *Engage in ongoing evaluation and reflection through monthly service reports, bi-weekly time logs, and a structured feedback process  *Present on service impact during the End of Year Presentations  Benefits: Childcare assistance if eligible; $5775 Eli Segal Education award upon successful completion of service; Access to health care coverage; Student loan forbearance (for select loan types); Training; Flexible schedule depending on placement organizationQualifications:*Service-minded with a commitment to community engagement and continuous learning  *Strong interpersonal and large-group communication skills  *Must be able to pass background check and obtain TX DPS level one fingerprint clearance card  *Must be 18 years of age or older by program start date  *Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident  *Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. by program start date  *Access to reliable transportation*Application Instructions:You must complete an application by visiting and selecting "Texas" as your primary site.  **No resumes or cover letters submitted through this website will be considered.Online Application Address:
