Afternoon Assistant - Part-time

Part-time teacher assistant or aide positions up to 30 hours per week. Teaching training provided.  We are located in Holly Springs, a short drive from Raleigh.

Teacher's Aide Position (multiple positions available)

Responsibilities

• Part time position requires candidates to be available Monday - Friday until 6pm (15-30 hours/wk).
• Warm and nurturing person that is comfortable working with various age groups from infants to four year olds.
• Responsible for well-being, care, and supervision of children
• Responsible for supporting afternoon teaching including enrichment activities

Qualifications

• Exceptionally nurturing and a passion for working with you children
• Experience as teacher’s aide or assistant in a licensed child care or preschool highly desirable
• Exceptionally flexible with the ability to take the initiative and be a team player
• Must have strong communication skills
• Familiarity with  NC licensing guidelines for child care is a plus
• Candidate must be reliable with excellent work-related references & with dependable work history
