Dog Wash Attendent - Part-time

Bend Pet Express's Dog Wash has an opening for a professional dog wash attendant. This is a part time position, working weekends is a must. We pride ourselves on providing a one of a kind environment to assist dogs and their parents in a plethora of areas during their time at our our facility. In addition to patience and genuine care for animals, we are looking for individuals that have high standards in cleanliness and can convey a professional, customer first attitude in any situation.

Applicants must have the following skills:

* Be at ease with customer interaction and excel at both written and verbal communication

* Genuinely relaxed and comfortable around all breeds of dogs

* Ability to utilize positive reinforcement with all clients, four legged and two!

* Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently and effectively

* Friendly with outgoing attitude

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

* Assist customers utilizing the "You Wash" facilities

* Applying wash guidelines correctly and quickly per BPE standards

* Bathing dogs, including cleaning ears

* Nail trims utilizing clippers and grinding equipment while restraining pets correctly to prevent injury to animal, staff and public.

* Clerical duties include ringing up customers, answering phones and setting up "We Wash"appointments

* General cleaning of main facility, cleaning and disinfecting each station after "You Wash" client is finished, linens and other accidents that may occur throughout the day
