Primary Responsibilities
- Complete hotel repairs and perform preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel quality maintenance standards are achieved.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within the hotel such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.
- Ensure basic electrical and HVAC systems are in proper working order.
- Check and make minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Report work completed daily.
- Respond in courteous manner to questions, complaints or requests from guests.
- Perform quality maintenance routines.
- Perform general maintenance on property grounds/curb appeal/patrol grounds for trash
- Snow removal and basic lawn care.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with Hotel Standards of Grooming and Standards of Conduct.
- Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor.
- Physical ability to lift/pull/push a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the Hotel.
- Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
