Description:
Supervises assigned shift in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards

• Reports to General Manager/Restaurant Manager
• Supervises hourly employees on assigned shift at the direction of management
• Direct accountability for all operational results and security (including banking transactions/cash security) for each shift worked

SCOPE
• Responsible for sales during shifts worked
• Responsible for supervising hourly employees during any assigned shift

Duties:

  • Maintains the integrity of the Brand by monitoring and directing the activities of the employees' focus on the quality of the restaurant operation

A. Adherence to food preparation standards
B. Adherence to service/hospitality standards
C. Adherence to sanitation and food safety standards
D. Adherence to cash controls and security policies

  • Maintains focus on restaurant operations and the maximization of sales
  • Ensures adherence to all Federal, State and local laws, as well as company policies
  • Provides consistent supervision to hourly employees

A. Models diversity and values at all times in all aspects of restaurant operations
B. Coaches restaurant employees on shifts they supervise (Not responsible for hiring, disciplining, or terminating employees)
C. May assist in conducting restaurant employee meetings

Qualifications:
Experience/Education
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Completion of development program is suggested

Physical Requirements
• Working irregular hours and working a maximum of 40 hours per week
• Extensive standing and walking without breaks
