About this job

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Cashier.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Greet all guests with a sincere smile, making them feel welcome with a cheerful, helpful, and respectful attitude while communicating clearly.
  • Take the guest's order within the company mandated 60 seconds service time, including suggestive selling when appropriate.
  • Repeat order to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect money for the order and deliver the order to the guest, thanking them and inviting them to and thank them for coming.
  • Immediately attend to any guest service problem or complaint and notify manager as needed.
  • Be able to accurately receive money and count back change.
  • Count register fund and assigned at the beginning of the shift and use only assigned drawer.
  • Be accountable for all cash issued and received at the register assigned to you during your shift and count down drawer at the end of shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Keep all signed meal tickets and coupons
  • Immediately notify the manager of any deletions, over-rings or equipment problems.
  • Ensure that all product holding times are strictly observed.
  • Clean lobby as needed
  • Keep service area clean and organized during shift.
  • Ensure products on the counter or in the display case are properly rotated and attractively displayed and keep display case interior and exterior clean at all times.
  • Stock the service area with sufficient supply of napkins, cups, lids, etc. and maintain an adequate supply of iced tea.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (minimum qualifications needed to perform the Essential Job Functions.):

  • Lifting Requirement- Medium:
  • Lifting and carrying 25 to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds or less frequently.

MUST BE ABLE TO:

  • Continuously stand and walk on hard floors to/from the kitchen area, stock room, food preparation area and front lines to oversee team member activities for the duration of a full shift (8 hours)
  • Occasionally lift and stack food and supply items from various heights to/from shelving, freezers, coolers, stock rooms, etc. Carry items to/from the service area; occasionally lift and carry trash bags out of trashcans and into outside dumpster.
  • Occasionally climb a footstool or ladder to reach items located on stock shelves, in coolers, freezers, stock rooms, etc.
  • Frequently push or pull, trashcans, brooms, mops, and mop buckets.
  • Frequently sloop or squat to reach items on low shelves or on the floor.
  • Continuously reach overhead, forward, and underneath shelving, counters, tables, refrigeration units, rooks, drink dispensers, fryers, batter table and ovens.
  • Listen to the needs and advice of managers, team members and guests.
  • Continuously use fingers and wrists lo bilaterally prepare food, unload boxes, etc.
  • Continuously communicate with and listen to guests, management, and other team members to ensure optimal performance.
