Requirements
Upscale Retirement Community seeks a full time Dining Room Trainer. This position is primarily responsible for training and developing Dining Room servers on a continuous and consistent basis. The Trainer is also responsible for ensuring that department operations, standards and procedures are uniformly implemented in all dining venues. The Dining Room Trainer will work closely with residents and Food & Beverage management, as well as provide support to staff and guests in the absence of a manager. Must have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in either fine dining or country club style food service.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge and skills: • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure • Good written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and relate to various customers, residents • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff • Exceptional PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, basic level Excel.
