Overview:  Ciphertex is seeking a Lead Generation Specialist. This is a challenging [entry-level] position ideal for a responsible person seeking to help drive success for a goal-oriented marketing and sales effort. Our environment is small and this positon will wear various hats within the organization. A teamwork attitude and willingness to problem solve and 'get things done' is a must in this position. This individual will be responsible for helping to identify and immediately follow up with hot leads, monitoring lead activity, and relevant lead conversion activities and reporting on those actions. In addition, this individual will help from with first-touch demand generation activities (digital marketing, tradeshows,etc).

Experience Direct experience in inside sales, telemarketing, and/or marketing is a plus, but not required. The candidate will be expected to learn and use the marketing automation and CRM tools available to support lead generation work and to build reports in Microsoft Excel. This position requires someone that is a self-starter and is highly organized and can multi-task very well.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with hot leads and qualify warm leads using clear, concise and consistent follow up via telephone and/or email when appropriate
• Contribute to targeted marketing plans and other marketing campaigns. Provide constant feedback to marketing on the effectiveness of different messages and campaigns (reports)
• Create a superior prospect experience that sets the stage for future sales by navigating to key decision-makers, identify need, generate interest, qualify and perform company research
• Coordinate all leads, prospects and opportunities, including regular updating and reporting using pipeline and forecast principles
• Preparation of weekly and monthly prospecting reports
• Manage data for new and prospective clients in our CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferred Sales Experience Basic-Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (word and excel) Knowledge of CRM, a plus
