Kitchen and Bath Designer (Chicago)
Established full-service high end Kitchen & Bath Design Center is seeking an experienced full-time Kitchen and Bath Design Sales Associate.
Our designers meet with clients and guide them through the design process, from concept to completion.The right candidate should be motivated to take advantage of the unlimited learning potential of the position.
Professional Requirements:
- Basic working knowledge of cabinetry (i.e: construction, navigating catalogs, familiarity of wood species and finishes, experience in pricing kitchens and baths)
- Preferred knowledge of natural and engineered stone counter top surfacing
- Working knowledge of appliances and plumbing
- Proven success in sales
- Strong project management skills (creating orders, placing orders, scheduling measures, installs, deliveries, etc)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Must have strong follow up skills
- Must be a self starter who is willing to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and have a professional appearance
- 20/20 knowledge a plus
