Palermo's Pizza has a new part time role as Consumer Services Representative within the Marketing Department.This role will report to the full time Consumer Services Representative.The Hourswill be in the afternoon and evening, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.Approximately 25 hours/week.

  • As the primary face of the company to direct consumer contacts, deliver world class service that generates positive word of mouth the consumer services rep will:
  • Receive and handle all direct consumer contacts in whichever form (phone calls, comments from web site, emails, letters, etc.)
  • Follow up as needed internally
  • Follow up as needed with the consumer (coupons, email, letter)
  • Help marketing department respond to certain social media comments/requests
  • Be a positive ambassador of Palermo's who represents the company well while serving our consumers
  • Prepare on-going reports summarizing types of issues, specific products or lines, opportunities, etc.Connect with QA on-going and immediately if needed to keep them appraised of emerging issues
  •  Help to continuously improve customer service processes and systems - i.e. how to appropriately address all consumer comments/inquiries on the firstcontact, what we can do better
  • Can handle many different types of consumer interactions equally well where the person at the other end feels heard and satisfied that the company wants to help them; this may range from consumers who just want to find where to buy our products or offer praise to those who are very disappointed in our products and want to complain and/or get a refund.
  • Will proactively find a solution to a situation on the spot vs. relying on or waiting for others for the solution
  • A self-starter with excllent multi-tasking and problem solving abilities.
  • Focused on Continuous Improvment
  • Leadership abilities - willing to lead by example in handling consumer situations
  • Can provide strong management and guidance to a part time CSR

 

Optimal Experience: 5+ years of dealing with external consumers in a customer service capacity
