Oral Surgery Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Oral Surgeon office in the Leesburg looking for an assistant that is eager and willing to learn. We are looking for someone that is upbeat, optimistic, takes their job seriously, is organized, looking for a stable job/career, punctual and has initiative to think ahead.



We are looking for someone with the following abilities:

-Take X-rays.

-Sterilizing all instruments.

-Tray set ups.

-Prepare treatment room for patients.

-Seating patients in the treatment room.

-Chairside assisting with the doctor during a procedure.

-Monitoring the patient during procedures.

-Educating patients by giving postoperative instructions.

-Taking impressions on a patient as well as pouring them and trimming models for doctor's needs.

-Disinfecting the rooms as needed.

-Restocking rooms for supplies.

-Taking weekly inventory for supplies.

-Keeping operatory rooms, lab, sterilization rooms and bathrooms clean and restocked at all times.

-Providing assistance in the office with tasks such as setting appointments and answering phones when needed.

-Taking vitals, dental and medical history.



Must be able/willing to:

-Be x-ray certified or be willing to become x-ray certified.

-Be punctual and reliable.

-Further education and/or training as needed.

-Assist doctors in procedures.

-CPR Certified.
