We are currently searching for experienced and Guest service oriented Broiler Cooks to join our Black Angus Steakhouse team. Black Angus Steakhouse is always searching for new talent to join our restaurant’s team. Black Angus Steakhouse has immediate full time openings for an experienced Broiler Cook.
Responsibilities:
- Support the kitchen by cooking and broiling steaks and grilled entrees
- Handles all line set up, re-fires, and re-makes in a quick and efficient manner
- Serves as a Lead person on the line
- Ensures adherence to recipes, specs, and quality standards
- Works closely with Expeditor and kitchen staff to keep even flow in kitchen
Position Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years restaurant kitchen experience including Broiler position
- Skilled use of knives and all kitchen equipment while following all Safety guidelines
- Good people skills. Able to work well with co-workers
- Valid Health Card and Food Safety Card (where applicable)
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Good personal hygiene
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
