Restaurant Team Member - Full-time / Part-time

Hospitality:

• Demonstrates that customer service is a number one priority
• Makes a positive first impression: smiles, makes eye contact, maintains a positive tone of voice and says thank you
• Responds to customers in a friendly manner with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Responds to special customer requests in a friendly manner
• Assists in serving customers when necessary

Policies & Procedures

• Follows all store policies and procedures (e.g. cash handling procedures, back door policy, break policy)
• Reports all accidents, unsafe conditions and security incidents to management
• Maintains a neat, clean and professional appearance, in accordance with the Career Wear policy

Operations

• Follows Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing product for our customers
• Follows all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment
• Regularly takes temperatures of the required products, fridges and freezers and records information in the Time & Temperature Log
• Minimizes food waste, through making smaller quantities of food more often throughout the day and records prepared items and waste on the production sheet
• Monitors freezer product inventory and submits order quantities
• Supports a clean environment through regular clean up
• Follows proper hand washing techniques and all sanitation guidelines; completes all sanitation tasks as outlined by the Store Owner or Store Manager
• Other duties as required

Health & Safety

• Works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
• Knows, understands and follows safe work practices and procedures
• Uses or wears personal protective equipment or clothing as required
• Reports all injuries/illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents and any contravention of health and safety legislation, policies and procedures to the Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Owner
• Does not operate any equipment, machine, device or thing, or otherwise work in a manner that will endanger anyone

Tim Hortons is seeking full time and part time Team Members for the Morning & afternoon shifts. Our morning shift starts at 5:00am to 1:00pm. 6a-2pm or 10a- 5pm and 1pm-8pm.

Job Description - As a Team Member, you are responsible to perform various duties from order taking, serving as cashier, brewing/Serving coffee and prepare sandwiches and bagels toTim Hortons always fresh and food safety standards. This job is fast paced and requires attention to detail. Job Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Follow Tim Hortons Always Fresh and Food Safety Standards. Reliable transportation. Integrity and reliability is important. Able to complete time/temp logs. General housekeeping. Training will be provided to selected candidates. Upon successful completion of training and probation, salary will be revised based upon performance. Prior food service experience will be an asset. Upon successful Preference will be given to candidates from Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills, Rochester, Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, Macomb, Utica, Romeo, Lake Orion, Oakland and Chesterfield or anyone living within 20 minutes of driving distance from Rochester Hills.
