We are in search of an experienced and professional individual who could fill our current open position as Audio Visual Technician to perform repairs and upkeep for the common area, to also include assistance with maintaining our audio and visual needs throughout many of the XFINITY Live! venues. 



Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:




  • Set up audio, video & lighting equipment for various complex events, shows and meetings 

  • Set up and operate sound equipment

  • Set up and operate spotlights

  • Work with tour and production managers to meet each shows audio visual needs

  • Work with Private event clients to meet audio visual needs

  • Edit and design show lighting on Martin Light Jockey

  • Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality on Digital Audio Matrix Systems

  • Ensure equipment is installed according to designated layout

  • Test and resolve equipment issues

  • Diagnose and correct media system problems

  • Coordinate audio feeds with television images on Crestron and Extron Building Control Experience

  • Mix audio on Yamaha LS9 for in house shows

  • Fix or send in equipment for repairs as needed, and approved

  • Clean audio and video equipment and store properly

  • Ensure the safe transfer and shipment of equipment

  • Upkeep and fix Daktronics LED displays

  • Maintain inventory of equipment

  • Report all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor;  may educate and train venue staff in the safe and proper use of equipment

  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction

  • May also perform other minor maintenance and repairs and/or conduct preventative maintenance duties as needed

  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments and venue General Managers

  • Perform job duties with minimal supervision



Qualifications:




  • Required Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience mixing on Yamaha Digital Audio Systems

  • Safely able to operate scissor lift and work on ladders

  • 1-2 years’ experience in DMX Lighting Controls

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Live Audio Mixing

  • 1-2 years’ experience in video recording, mixing & broadcasting

  • Advanced knowledge in common audio, video & lighting cables and connections

  • Ability to solder cables, crimp RJ4 5 connections

  • Experience using power tools
