About this job
We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Bus Driver.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: $12.60/hr (ft) $12.28/hr (sub)
Requirements
BECOME AN HCPS BUS DRIVER...BECOME A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL!!!!!!!

- Obtain CDL with endorsements in Air Brakes, Transporting Passengers and School Bus
- Pass physical and drug test
- Successfully complete State of VA DOE Certification Course to drive a school bus (will be paid during trainimg - no experience required - only need instructional CDL permit to start training)
- Must be able to deal effectively with children and adults
- Must have good customer service skills
- Must provided three signed letters of reference and one good moral character form
- Must have good communications skills
- Some positions may start as substitutes and transition to full-time contracts
