To-Go Café Manager for Citarella
Citarella, Premier Gourmet Market, in Greenwich is seeking a To-Go Café Manager to join our vibrant team and help us manage and continue to develop our store’s popular To-Go Cafe! In an exciting time of growth and expansion, we recently introduced our largest To Go Café in the Greenwich, CT location.
What is the To-Go Café?
The To-Go Café specializes in giving our customers the ability to order from a selection of freshly cooked Citarella items that range from breakfast foods, prepared foods, wraps, paninis, coffees, etc. and enjoy their food in our café area or on the go.
Our To Go Café Manager will be responsible for a multitude of tasks including: involvement in production of to-go menu items, provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service to our guests, manage cooks/dishwashers/counter associates, supervise and coordinate all departmental tasks to ensure daily production, execution, and maintenance of all fresh quality menu items.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least 2 years of café/kitchen experience in a supervisory role
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of café foods and beverage
- Coaching and staff development experience
- Expertise in health, food safety & sanitation procedures
- Knowledge and ability to operate required kitchen equipment
- Must be able to meet physical demands of position including: standing for extended periods of time, bending, pulling, pushing, carrying up to 50 pounds, etc.
