As a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA with Home Helpers, you are joining a team of compassionate, caring and trustworthy caregivers that is the core of our organization. We have immediate need for many different shifts: anywhere from 4 hours to 12 hour shifts for days, nights and weekends, depending on your availability. Caregivers work with seniors and individuals wishing to remain in their own homes and communities and those who need recuperative or continuous care. Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner.    Responsibilities/Activities:  • Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, ambulation and potentially transfers • Ensure client's safety, security and well-being in accordance with care plan • Ensure client's safety and security by supervising the home environment; • Some services may include: meal planning & preparation, routine housekeeping activities such as making/changing beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry; • Provide companionship including social interactions, conversations, emotional reassurance and encouragement of activities that stimulate the mind; • Provides respite care for families in accordance with care plans; • Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, shopping and outings as specified in the care plan;  • Participate on the Care Team by providing input and making suggestions; • Ensure service is delivered in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures and practices; • Monitor supplies and resources; • Carry out duties as assigned by the supervisor; • Observe clients and their environments and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor; • Observe clients and their environments and reports behavior, physical and/or cognitive changes and/or changes in living arrangements to supervisor; • Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service; • Attend orientation, in-service training sessions and staff meetings • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others • Communicate with Supervisor and co-workers.  



 Requirements: • Must have a CNA designation in the state of Georgia. A minimum of one year + of health care experience  preferred. • Must have a current TB test • Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation. • Must have great references and the desire to join a dynamic team. • Must be willing to undergo a full background check and drug screening • We offer competitive pay and flexible hours along with comprehensive training and growth opportunities. • We serve clients in Alpharetta, Buford, Johns Creek, Suwanee, Roswell, Marietta, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Snellville and Stone Mountain.
