Restaurant Manager Trainee

Chick-fil-A of Polaris leads the team/business with a team of high powered, passionate, engaged and enthusiastic leaders who make a difference in our team’s and guests’ lives, daily! We are looking to expand our leadership team through our leadership development program, which allows full-time or part-time individuals to learn the necessary skills to become a manager and pursue further growth within Chick-fil-A.
This 1-3 year commitment is dependent on skill level and leader ability. It will focus on all portions of a multi-million dollar business including:
- Human Resources – recruiting, interviewing, hiring, performance reviews
- Marketing – Strategy, sales building, negotiating, budgeting
- Customer Service – Developing customer relationships, handling complaints
- Quality and Cost Control – getting results, tracking and analyzing data
- Goal Setting – creating positive and lasting organizational change
- Team Building – coaching and accountability
- Vision – Defining and communicating your business vision
Required Qualifications:
- High School Degree/GED
- Currently pursuing a college degree or recent college graduate
- Enjoys working as a team and serving others
- Personal drive and ambition for excellence
- Availability to work various hours, full or part-time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Owner/Operator, on a peer level and as part of a high performance leadership team, to execute our business strategy
- Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks
- Works with executive team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels
- Responsible for inventory management
- Responsible for the facilities management
- Must be an excellent coach, communicator and team builder
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store
- Verifies completion of all operational assessment tools
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 40lbs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned

Pay Type: Hourly, plus bonus opportunities (competitive)
