Building Maintenance Supervisor

Come be a part of a winning team at DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport.  We are looking for a qualified individual with a can do attitude and the ability to be a problem solver for our maintenance department.  The position is for a Building Maintenance Supervisor.  This position is responsible for the direction of maintaining, repairing, cleaning mechanical areas/equipment & assists other trade mechanics in their duties.

Individuals must posses the following:

•  Basic knowledge of skilled trade activities in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical


•  Skill in the use of a variety of skilled trade tools, hand & electric


•  Ability to move and work throughout the hotel for duration of shift


•  Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling


•  EP and HVAC certified a big plus


•  Knowledge of record keeping for Health Dept. on all chemicals used, including pool management


•  Knowledge of OSHA standards for chemical and safety issues


•  Knowledge in grounds keeping and parking lot maintenance


•  Inventory control for property of 302 rooms, 22,000 sq. feet of public space, 14- seat restaurant, lounge and kitchen


•  Knowledge of building maintenance requirements


•  Ability to work in unfavorable conditions while consistently bending, stooping, kneeling or standing


•  Knowledge of basic general contract work arrangement for in or around building


•  5 years prior maintenance management experience
