ABOUT US: Quality Packaging Industries (QPI) is a national company providing containerization and fulfillment services for non-food products, including shrink wrapping, corrugate design, POP displays, bagging, sampling, repacking, flow wrapping, blister packaging, collating, as well as transit and storage performance testing. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is primarily responsible for basic duties performed on the pack out lines, other duties may be assigned. These duties include: in line process duties (exclude QA inspector and operator duties). SAFETY, QUALITY and PRODUCTION policies and procedures must be followed and carried out on a daily basis. While preforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform repetitive hand/arm motions including use of hands to finger, and repetitive talking or hearing. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend and smell. The employee is occasionally required to walk, balance, and crouch. The employee must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to forty (40) pounds; lift above shoulder level; stand up to twelve (12) hours per day with adequate breaks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be at least nineteen (19) years of age at the time of employment. Must have reliable transportation. Pre-Employment drug screening and background check required.
