About this job
- Read Build-to Charts to ensure that sufficient Dough is prepared.
- Prepare all Dough/Shells in compliance with GPI standards and within allowable times.
- Ensure proper weights of dough ingredients and shells.
- Ensure proper proofing of shells.
- Adhere to shelf life standards for dough and shells.
- Clean and restock dough sheeting area.
- Cleaning of restaurant and grounds to meet GPI standards in compliance with the Operations Manual.
- Clean and sanitize wall surfaces, work surfaces and equipment (must be 18 years of age to clean the Hobart mixer and dough roller).
- Label prepared products to GPI standards as stated in the Operations Manual.
- Use a variety of kitchen equipment to prepare food products. (Must be 18 years of age to operate the Hobart mixer, vegetable dicer and dough roller.)
- Adhere to proper sanitation procedures in compliance with health department standards.
- Complete all bus/dish duties as needed (see bus/dish job description).
- Other duties as needed for restaurant to run efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 to operate certain equipment.
- Must be able to arrive at the store at the scheduled time and maintain reasonable attendance at work.
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location.
- Basic math skills required
- Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests.
- May need to lift food items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- May require Food Handler’s permit.
