Order Puller - Full-time / Part-time

GAMA provides many benefits and values to its members. GAMA operates a full service warehouse and distribution center supplying goods and services to the convenience store industry. Job Description Order Builder/Puller General Summary: Reports to Delivery Manager Builds customer orders and packs order totes. Stages customer orders for proper loading into delivery trucks. Primary Responsibility: Accurate palletizing of customer orders to meet dispatch times. Responsible for palletizing of customer orders for shipment and placing all orders in proper sequence for loading. Loads all pallets using scanner equipment at a required rate to meet dispatch schedule. Essential Functions: Compiles and loads totes on to pallets for delivery Pulls customer order Maintains clean and safe work environment Verifies accuracy of customers orders Accountable for maintaining pertinent company assets Experience and Skills: Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties Good communications skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
