Punch Press Operator - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently seeking Machine and Press Operators on 2nd and 3rd shift  in Merrifield, MN. Our client provides metal components for original equipment manufacturers through stamping & fabricating. These positions are a 30 day temp-to-hire. 

Responsibilities:
Operate, load and adjust punch press machines at or above established standard rate while maintaining quality standard of parts. 
Performs inspections of various parts using varied measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, digital comparator, etc. 
Reports faulty machine operation or faulty parts to supervisor/lead person/QC Dept. 

Requirements:
Good attendance record is required. 
Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds individually; or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
