Material Handler, Receiving & Warehouse - Full-time

Duties / Responsibilitiesand Authorizations Receives, inspects, logs, labels all incoming materials and products and enters information into the MRP system. Monitors, supplies and documents material usage at machines per production schedule and Customer Run Traveler. Mixes material/ colors per customer specifications Returns and restocks material from production floor back into warehouse Prepares shipping of outbound material (including but not limited to, molds and tradeshow equipment) Ensuring inventory is updated in MRP system at all times. Accurate processing of Quarterly Inventory of Raw Materials and Inserts Assists in management of hazardous waste program Assists in management of ?Dead? mold disposal upon approval and documentation Assists in management of Customer Owned Materials Maintains and wears PPE as required per job Understanding and following of Safety and ?Right-to-Know? programs (inc MSDS location) Assists with packaging and shipping as needed Daily walk around shop to re-stockshop supplies Provide ISO support Special assignments as given by management team Qualifications and Skills Computer skills- Understanding of Excel, Word, and barcoding systems Experience driving forklifts Strong organizational skills Strong skills in understanding general manufacturing processes Strong communication skills (prefer bilingual ? English/ Spanish) Good ?eye-hand? coordination Mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers & fractions) Ability to accurately follow instructions Neat and legible handwriting Extreme attention to detail Able to work flexible hours if needed. Able to work under pressure with a sense of priority Education and Experience High School or equivalent Previous receiving/ warehouse experience preferred Prefer experience in fast production environment (> 1 year) Physical Demands Sits or stands for long periods of time (3-5 hours) Visual acuity (near & far vision, color & peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus) Occasional computer work (1-2 hours) Repetitive use of hands and fingers Good hearing capability Occasional kneeling, stooping (up to 3 hrs) Frequently walks short distances (200ft) Frequent reaching with arms and hands (up to 8 hours) Environment Frequently Exposed to: Long periods of sitting or standing Occasionally Exposed to: Heat, cold and loud shop noise Fumes or airborne particles from plastic resin Miscellaneous Other duties may be assigned as necessary Reasonable accommodations will be made so persons with disabilities can perform job duties First shift position
