Bartender - Full-time / Part-time

YOUR JOB AS A BARTENDER

Skillful and clever is the bd's Bartender. An artiste behind the bar, you are part scientist, part entertainer, part guide, and part observer. You are attuned to our guests, monitoring their drink needs, while helping to keep them safe. You can be clever, controlled, flexible, quick, dynamic and animated ... You create Mongo Magic so that each and every guest leaves happy.

You will learn the following bd's Bartender objectives:

• Communicate in a positive manner while interacting with guests and Team Mates.
• Executes Salesmanship, showmanship and style
• Professional and well groomed.
• Execute a recovery strategy and know when to get a manager involved
• Bar familiarity
• Drink preparation
• Confidently and knowledgeably suggests drinks, and appetizers
• Cash handling
• Cutting off a guest
• Uses precision service and caring behaviors
• Handling guest complaints
• Adheres to responsible alcohol service rules (TIPS or TABC)
• Maintains a clean/organized /stocked bar
• Teamwork

REQUIREMENT FOR HIRE: Candidate must have Server Alcohol Training Certification

bd's Mongolian Grill is a fun place to eat and work. We want you to enjoy your job, and we will do all that we can to provide a fun and energetic atmosphere. To help you understand your training, we have written a manual to be a comprehensive explanation of all of your tasks. We'll take you through this manual during this training period, and we also encourage you to continue to refer to it as a source of instruction for your further learning. Take advantage of the knowledge in the manual, be willing to learn from it, don't be afraid to ask us any questions, and have fun!
