CNC Machine Set up and Operator - Full-time

We have a full-time opening for a CNC Machine Set up and Operator.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays.

• Must have 2 or more years experience.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: 13.00-20.00

A manufacturer of precision machined parts in the Burbank, IL area is looking for experienced CNC Late and Mill Set-up and Operators. The ideal candidate will have experience on Conversation Control Machinery as well as general machine shop equipment. You will be expected to set up and operate CNC lathes/mills per job order specifications and have the ability to see projects through from start to finish. This includes loading programs, making program adjustments if necessary

Average weekly hours range from 45-55 hours. 1st and 2nd shifts are available. Pay will range between $13-$20/hr and will be based on experience.

Requirements:
- Experience with CNC lathe/mill set up and operation utilizing conversational programming
- Experience with general machine shop equipment
- Experience using More Seiki Horizontal Mills and Lathes and/or Hurco 3-Acis Mill and 5-Axis Mill preferred
- Must be able to read blueprints (both standard and metric)
- Knowledge of micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of various types of metals including, but not limited to Titanium and Stainless Steel
- Must be a team player and detail oriented
