About this job
The restaurant host if the first employee to interact with our guests. It’s the job of the host to greet the arriving guests with a smile and great attitude, welcome them to Maggie’s, and seat them. They should already know where the guests are going by the time the guest gets to them. They are the first impression the guests have of Maggie’s.
Day to day tasks include checking the open dining sections for empty and cleaned tables, choreographing bussers cleaning the tables and setting them to the host’s needs, maintaining the wait list/time, meeting the needs of the guests that are waiting, answering the phone, taking messages, working with the manager to book reservations.
