Sanitation Worker - Full-time / Part-time

South Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products.

Summary:

The Sanitation Worker assists with cleaning equipment in production and non-production areas of the Bakery in accordance with process and quality standards so as to meet production schedules assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Cleaning equipment in production and non-production areas of the Bakery.
• Cleaning equipment, cleaning production and non-production areas (wrapping, storage, break room and restrooms) by hand scrubbing, machine scrubbing or chemical cleaning.
• Performs post cleaning inspections.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Reports To: Sanitation Supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Required Skills and Requirements

The Sanitation Worker I position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service by treating all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect. Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service oriented. Previous janitorial experience is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
