Delivery Driver - Full-time / Part-time

South Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products.

Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, energetic Delivery Driver to join our SJB team! Of course, we want people who will do more than just drop off our food- we want people who can truly provide excellent guest service on-the-go!.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• To efficiently deliver customer orders, so that orders arrive complete and on time.
• To maintain customer satisfaction and increase positive company exposure.
• Strategically load orders into vehicle
• Drive to deliver orders
• Uphold our image on the street with our customers
• Unload vehicle and arrange racks in appropriate layout in rack wash area
• Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery on store’s behalf

Reports To: Delivery Supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Required Skills and Requirements

• The Delivery position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service by treating all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect.
• Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service oriented.
• Previous delivery experience is preferred
• Be physically able to work an eight (8) hour day or more while on your feet
• Safely lift ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds
• Maintain composed sense of urgency during delivery hours
• Obey All traffic laws

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
